WvInfodepot’s electronic databases are available both at home and in the library, thanks to the West Virginia Library Commission, all Upshur County Public Library library cardholders have access to the following databases both at home and in the library through WVinfodepot.org.  These databases are great for school research, job searching, medical research, studying for tests, and many other topics.  Check out the links below for more information.  If you need any help with these databases, feel free to call Upshur County Public Library at (304) 473-4219.

Content covering all areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to holistic and integrated medicine.

e-WV Encyclopedia(From WV Humanities Council)  The West Virginia Encyclopedia is the comprehensive reference resource for the Mountain State of West Virginia. E-WV offers thousands of articles on West Virginia’s people and places, history, arts, science and culture.

WV Newspaper Portal (From the Potomac State College) – A local newspaper digitization project focusing on several WV eastern panhandle newspapers.

  • Digital Virginias – Houses and supports the subset of Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) records contributed by organizations from Virginia and West Virginia.
