Part-Time Circulation Clerk
Hours of Work: 28 hours/week, must have availability and flexibility in the daytime, evenings and a regular weekend rotation. Compensation is $9.75 an hour, no benefits are included in this position.
Primary Function: Performs a variety of library circulation and clerical procedures with a heavy concentration of public contact.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, etc. include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work set day, night and weekend shifts as required
- Ability to work independently
- Strong customer service skills
- Enjoys working with the public of all ages
- Attention to detail
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to deal with multiple unexpected tasks and patrons simultaneously
- Ability to operate electronic equipment including computers, printers, copiers, etc.
- Able to regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors in assigned work area
