Welcome to the Virtual Vertical File for Upshur County Public Library.  The aim of this collection is to enable keyword searchability for a collection of magazine & newspaper articles, pamphlets, and photographs physically housed in file folders contained in several file cabinets at Upshur County Public Library.  These were culled by many volunteers over the years.

Much of the information contained in these files is still copyrighted, so we cannot post the full text or the photographs online.  If you find items that you would like to either see in person or have a copy made and sent to you, please call the Circulation Desk at 304-473-4219, ext. 0084, or email help@upshur.wvlibrary.info.

As of October 2024, this collection is still being cataloged and more is being added weekly.  Upshur County Public Library would like to thank Kayla Currence, one of our Wesleyan Service Scholars, for her hard work in indexing and cataloging this collection over the past two years.
